I Daniel Sulivane of the County of orange and State of North Carolina being Very Sick and weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, Calling to mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament - that is to say, principally and first of all I give and Recommend my Soul into the hand of almighty God that give it, and my body I Recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian burial, at the discretion of my Executors, nothing doubting but at the general Resurection I Shall Receive the Same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such Worldly Estate Wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give demise and dispose of the Same in the following manner and form, First, I give and bequeath to Margret my dearly beloved wife one hundred acres of land ["at" erased] on the west Side of the track[sic], Dureing her lifetime and after her death ["to" erased] to be my Son Oen[Owen] Sulivane's. I also give to him one young black horse and one Cow & Calf one Ewe & lamb one Sow & pigs, Also I give to my oldest Son Joseph Sulivane one hundred acres of land on the South Side of the track[sic] I also give him one young Sorrel mare and one Cow & Calf one Ewe & lamb one Sow & pigs. Also I give my Son Daniel Sulivane one hundred acres of land Joining Joseph's I also give him one horse one Cow & Calf one Ewe & lamb one Sow & pigs, Also I give my youngest Son ["Oen Sulivane" x-out] Edmon Sulivane one hundred acres of land Joining the home place also I give my oldest daug[h]ter Mary one Shilling Starling[sic], also I give my daug[h]ter Sary one Shilling Starling, also I give my daughter Margret one Shilling Starling, also I give my son Isaac Sulivane one Shilling Starling also - I give my son John Sulivane one Shilling Starling, and the Rest of my Estate I give to my wife Margret to give and bestoe[sic] as She Sees best, And I do hereby utterly disallow, Revok[e], and disannul all and every other former testaments, Wills, legacies, bequests and Executors, by me in any Wise before [blot-out] named, Willed and bequeathed: Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and testament.
