Sullivan from a copy of the original. This Daniel Sulivane is not proven to be related to my line although his son Isaac is another candidate to be my ggggrandfather. But the naming pattern is interesting (my gggrandfather was a Joseph), however, I have found no evidence that this Isaac is in my direct line. I have information from other people who indicate that Daniel came from Caroline County, MD and that his father was Florence Sulivane. In the Pre-1790 Colonial America Census Index by Automated Archives, I have found a Daniel Sullivane in MD in 1748. The line as I know it is as follows: Owen Sullivan Child- Daniel Sullivan. Daniel Sullivan married spouse unknown. Child- Florence Sullivan, born in 1697 Florence Sullivan married Sarah Johnson (daughter of Robert Johnson & Elizabeth Goostree) Florence died in 1775/76 in Caroline county, MD ( sources: Will of Florence Sullivan sr. Caroline county, MD Land Transactions,) Children of Florence and Sarah Daniel Sulivane- b Jan1730 (his will is listed above) John Sullivan- B 1731 in MD Florence Sullivan- b in MD Solomon Sullivan Darby Sullivan Daniel Sulivane married Margret Melvin and moved to NC after 1748 but before 1761 (court records show a Daniel Sullivan in 1761 in Orange County). Children of Daniel and Margret Joseph Sulivane Oen Sulivane Edmon Sulivane Isaac Sulivane Mary Sulivane Sary Sulivane Margret Sulivane I have a little more data on the children of Daniel and Margret but I am still organizing it. If anyone knows any additional data on this line, please email me.
