Testator: William R Sutherland

I William R. Sutherland of the County of Orange
State of North Carolina being of perfect
mind and sound memory, yet feeble in
bodily health do make and ordain this to be
my last will and testament in manner
and form following (Vz)

1st My will and desire is that all my just
debts and funeral expenses be paid out of
my money now on hand.

2nd I give and bequeath unto my beloved
Mother Mary A. Sutherland all my estate
both real and personal including all interests
whatsoever that have accrued or may accrue
unto me, to her and her heirs forever. -----

Lastly I constitute and appoint my uncle
William Cain (of Hillsboro) my executor
of this my last will and testament In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed my seal -- This 22nd
of June 1838.
