First it is my will that all my Just debts and Funeral expense be first paid. Item, I give and bequeath unto my Children that are herein named, Elisabeth, Abel, Enoch, Thomas, Edith, Lydia, & Sarah- all the remaining property That I have , to be equally divided betwe[e]n them. --- Item. I do constitute and appoint my two sons Abel, and William Turner[sic], sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament, and I do hereby ratify and confirm this to be my last Will and Testament; in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this twentyeth day of the fifth month, in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and twenty seven, --- Joseph Thompson (seal) Signed, seald and acknowledg'd in the presence of, -- Samuel McCracken Senr aff.
