All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Ben Franklin ben.franklin.ffru@gmail.com May 2024 Source: Loose Will, NC Archives CR 073.801, Will Book Volume F, pages 170-171 Written: March 13, 1843 Recorded: Nov 1843 Testator: Sarah Walker In the name of God Amen I Sarah Walker of the state of North Carolina Orange County being of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be God, do this the Thirteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty Three make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say First I give and bequeath to my son Livi Walker my servant girl Mary and hir child by the name of Nash 2nd I give and bequeath to my son Empson Walker my servant man Stephen 3rd I give to my daughter, Harriet Crofford my servant girl Rachel, the daughter of Mary 4th I direct and ordain that all the rest of my property be sold and divided between my daughter Nancy Shaw and my son Truman Walker and further I direct that the negroes which I have given to my several children as above that is to say to Levi Walker, Empson Walker and Harriet Crofford be valued at my death and that an equalisation be made among all my heirs so that the portion assigned to each of my children shall be equal in value.
