Watson. Item I give to my Daughter Margaret Watson wife of Wilson Watson and to her Two Children Alexand[er] G Watson and her daughter Julian D[?] Watson at the death of my Wife the tract of land whereon we now live convey'd as above named to them and there[sic] heirs forevere ~~~~~~ Item, I give to my son Julius Watson my tract of land lying on Grays Creeke adjo[in]ing the land of the heirs of Alfred Moore decd. to him and his heirs forevre[sic] ~~~~ Item, I give to my son James .M. Watson one hundred dollars as soon as it can be collected by my Executors herein after named out of the money due my Estatue[sic] Item, I give to my daughter Tempy .T. Watson my negro boy Zackney with a bed and ferniture Bureau and dining Table which she now Claims to her and her heirs forevere[sic] ~~ My will is also at the death of my wife Nancy Watson that my negro girl Lydia be sold all my household & kitchen ferniture and all the residue of my Estate and out of the proceads ther[e]of that my son James M. Watson have two hundred dollars more paid him by my Executors to him and his heirs for ever ~~~ Item. If there should no acsident should happen my said Girl Lydia by death or other wise I give to the heirs [page 2] of my daughter Elizabeth Dockry deceas'd wife of Payton Dockry One hundred and fifty dollars but aney such accident should happen I then give the heirs of said daughter dceas'd five dollars to them and there heirs forever Item, As [I] do not believe that I am induty bound to give aney part of my property to the son of an of another[sic] man yet never the lass I give to my soninlaw Samuel Riley five dollars to him and his heirs forever Item, All the residue of my Estate I allows[sic] to be Equally divided betwene[sic] my foure[sic] Children Margaret Julius James .M. and Tempty T. Watson to them and their heirs forever ~~~ Lastly I make and ordain my soninlaw Wilson Watson and and[sic] my son Julius Watson Executors of this my last will and Testament and by this revokeing aney former will by me made in Testimoney whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 29th day June 1842 Interlined before signed signed, sealed, A Watson (seal) in presence Levi McCollum Jurat J.L. L Turner Orange County August Term 1842 Te execution of the forgoing last Will & Testament of Andrew Watson decd. was duly proved in open Court by the oath of Levi McCollum one of the subscribing witnesses here unto & ordered to be recorded at the same time Wilson Watson the Executor herein named appeared in open Court & qualified accordingly Test Additional Comments: Will Book Volume F, pages 137-139 Recorded Aug 1842 Estate Papers comprise 11 pages and are found in a folder labeled "Watson, Andrew (1849)". On 8 May 1849, James M. Watson purchased "Lydia, a colored girl" for $300.
