    In the year of our Lord One Thousand
eight Hundred and fifty Nine 1859
Sept 1st I Julius Watson of the County [of]
Orange State of North Caralina being
of sound and perfect mind and memory
but feeble in Health and taking into
consideration the uncertainty of human
life, do make publish and Ordain this
My last will and Testament in manner
following that is to say, that I give
and bequeath to my beloved wife ["My" x-out]
["plantation" x-out] Emily Watson my Plantation
all my stock of Horses Hogs Cows &c all
My Household & Kitchen furniture and real
and personal property of all kinds
to have [and] to hold for her life time or,
except forty seven acres more or less of
Land lying on the waters of Mill Creek
adjoining John Paul Alexander Mebane and
others which I desire that my Son
Munroe shall have ten years from
the present date to have and to hold to him
and his heirs forever It is further my desire
that at the death of my beloved wife the
said Emily Watson that all my property
shall be equally divided among my
Children except that each of my Daughters
shall have one Bed and furniture extra
and that they be delivered to them at my death

I also give and bequeath to my son William
my Watch to have and to hold as his

Hundred and fifty Nine (1859) Sept 1st

I Julius Watson of the County of Orange State
of North Caralina being of Sound and
