In the Name of God, Amen, I Stephen White
of the County of Orange and State of NoCarolina
Being of sound and perfect mind and memory
(blessed by God) do this Sixt day of January in
the year of our lord one Thousand eight Hundrid
and twelve Make and publish this my last
Will and Testament in manner following that is to say

Fi[r]st, I Give and bequeath unto my beloved wife
Ann White two Hundred Acres of land laying and
being in the County of Orange upon the Waters of
Back Creek and Haw River with all the persineal[sic]
Estate thairupon dureing hir life time ~~~~

Item) I Give and bequeath unto the Haires of
James Bauldridge Deced. the sum of two Dollars in
Cash from the Estate when Called for ~~~~~~

Item) I Give and beque[a]th unto my son in law Samuel
Mebane two Dollars if liiving[sic] if not to his Hiares ~~~

Item) I Give and bequeath unto William Hodge my
Sun inlaw the sum of two Dollars if liveing if not
to his Haires ~~~~~

Item) I Give and bequeath unto my son Stephen
White if liveing the sum of two Dollars if not to
his Heares ~~~~

Item) I Give and bequeath unto my son John White
the sum of two Dollars ~~~~

Item) I Give and bequeath unto my son David
White one peace of land supposed to be fifty acres
on the ["east" x-out] West side of Back Creek after the
death of my Wife Anna ~~~~    ~~~~

Item) I Give and bequeath unto my son James
White one Horse to be valued at the sum of
Seventy Dollars (buy any two good men ~~~~

Item) I Give and bequeath unto my son Samuel
White the sum of two Dollars from the Estate ~~

Item) I Give and bequeath unto my son Joseph
White the peace or persil of land, I now live
upon on the east side of Back Creek, with
all the persineal Estate enexed thair to
after the death of my beloved Wife Ann
White, and paying the rest of the Legetees out
off it

And I hereby make and ordain my worthey
sons David and Joseph White Executers of this
may last Will and Testament, and the said
Stephen White have to this my last will and
Testament, set my hand & seal the day & year above
written

sound and perfect mind and Memory blessed by God, do
this sixth day of January in the year of Our Lord, One
thousand Eight hundred and twelve make and publish this
my last Will and Testament in manner following, that
is to say. First, I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife
Ann White Two Hundred acres of Land laying and being in
the County of Orange upon the waters of Back Creek and Haw
River with all the personal Estate thereupon during her lifetime;

decd. the Sum of two dollars in cash from the Estate when called

living the sum of two Dollars if not to his Heirs ~~~~
Item I give and bequeath unto my son John White the sum of
two dollars ~~~ Item I give and bequeath unto my Son David

The Execution of the foregoing last Will and Testament of Stephen
White decd. was duly proved in Open Court by the oath of David
Bryan a subscribing witness thereto and ordered to be Recorded
At the same time Joseph White one of the Executors therein named
qualified accordingly
