In the Name of God Amen

This 18th of November in [the] year of our Lord one
thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty one
I now in my purfect mind and memory
do make my Last Will and Testamoney
I wish to dispose of my property in the folwing[sic]
man[n]er Viz:

I will my dear Beloved wife a negrow woman
By the name Aff and one negrow Boy By the name Ned
to hir hir Lifetime and at hir dith[death] to fall
to hir heirs and all the Balance of the ["neg" x-out]
negrows to Be Equal[l]y devided Betwixt ["them" x-out]
my three daughters Elizabeth Polly & Nancy
to them and thire heirs and I will my
wife Margret one horse By the name of Jack
and one wagon and gears Two Cows and
all house hold fourniture only Nancy is to
have hir part of the household property as the
Rest of my daughters and the next choice of
horses I have a note on John Troxler for three
Hundred dollars and he m[a]y have his Choice to pay
Each of my other daughters one hundred dollars
or keep that and Reduct[?] as much in the
Value of of[sic] the negrows my Stock of Hoggs and
Sheep I Leave to my wife and She Can Sell
all the property that has no use for on the
plantation and I do Appoint John Boon Esq
and John Troxler Exectors[sic] in my will and
here unto Set my hand Seal

=ing manner (viz) I will my dear beloved wife a negro
woman by the name Aff & one negro boy by the name Ned
to her her Lifetime & at her death to fall to hir heirs and
all the balance of the negroes to be equally divided betwixt
my three daughters Elizabeth, Polly & Nancy to them & their
heirs & I will my wife Margaret one horse by the name
of Jack & one waggon & gears two cows & all the household
furniture only Nancy is to have her part of the household
property as the rest of my daughters & the next choice of
horses I have a Note on John Troxler for three hundred
dollars & he may have his choice to pay each of my other
daughters one hundred Dollars or Keep that & [Reduct?]
as much in the value of of[sic] the negroes my Stock of hoggs &
Sheep, I leave to my wife & she can sell all the property that
has no use for on the plantation & I do appoint John
Boon Esqr & John Troxler Executors in my will & hereunto Set my hand

The Execution of the foregoing last Will & testament of Adam
Whitsel was duly proved in open Court by the oath of John Boon
a subscribing Witness thereto & ordered to be Recorded At the
same time John Boon qualified as Executor thereto
