Will of Thomas Wood [of Eno River]: Orange County NC Will Book C, Page 110, 
dated 23 May 1786. Proved February, 1800.

North Carolina, Orange County:  I Thomas Wood now of Eno River and county and 
State aforesaid, being in perfect health with [undecipherable word] mind and 
memory, do make this my last will and testament, making null and void all 
other wills made by me first.

I resign my soul up to god that gave it, and my body to be decently interned.  
As to my worldly substance, I give and bequeath as follows. Item.  I mean the 
use of all my estate, both real and personal, to my loving wife Mary Wood 
during her natural life and at her death, I bequeath one shilling sterling to 
my daughter Lydia Good.

Also I give and bequeath one shilling sterling to my son Edward Wood.

Also I give and bequeath  to my son William Wood, for his heirs, one shilling 
sterling.

Also I give and bequeath to my son Blaton Wood one shilling sterling.

Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Forest one shilling sterling.

Also I give and bequeath to my son Henry Wood one shilling sterling.

Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Meley [Meley's last name could be Gwin 
or Given] one shilling sterling.

Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Theaney Wallace one shilling sterling.

Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Wood one shilling sterling.

Also I give and bequeath to my sons James Wood and Joseph Wood all the 
remainder of my estate lands, [undecipherable word] of [undecipherable word], 
household goods and chattels and all and everything [two undecipherable words] 
that belongs to me, to them and their heirs forever.

I also nominate and appoint my sons James Wood and Joseph Wood  executors of 
this my last will and testament, as witness my hand and seal this 23rd day of 
May 1786.
