Itam 1st I wish all my Just debts to be paid of[f] by my Executors as soon as possible. Itam 2nd I give and bequeath to my De[a]rley beloved Daughter Elizabeth Chisenhall my Negro Man Frank and one half the rest of [my] property. Itam 3nd I give and bequeath to my son James Wood the rest of my property after giving to my Derly ["beloving" x-out] beloved sons and Daughters viz. one Dollar to Solomon Wood one Dollar to Henry one to Joseph Wood jr one Dollar to Sukey Glenn one Dollar Nancy King one Dollar Mary Chisenhall. I do hereby nominate James Wood my son and Elisha Chisenhall my Executors to this my Last will and Testement. I hereby Revok[e] and annul all and Every other will by me heretofore by me[sic] made and I hereby publish and Declare this to be my Last will and Testiment In witness where of I heave here unto Set my hand and Seal this this[sic] 10th of September in the year of our [Lord] 1827.~~~ Signed sealed in the present his of the subscribe witnesseth[sic] Joseph (+) Wood (seal) Frederic Moize Jurat mark Dempsey Wood [Will Book Volume E, page 291] In the Name of God Amen I Joseph Woods[sic] of Orange County and State of North Carolina being of sound and desposing mind and memory do hereby make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as Following vs[sic] as to my Dearly beloved Wife Polly Wood as it may not interrupt her I [have] given her part [Will Book Volume E, page 292] before Witnesses Duncan Cameron and Fielding Leathers was the witnesses that She has her part of my Estate not interfearing With any thing that Shall hereafter be named.
