North Carolina Orange County I Thomas Wood Now of Eno River
and County and State afore said being in perfect He[a]lth Sense mind and
memory do make this my last will and Testament making Null and
Void all other wills made by me first I resine my Soul up to God that
Gave it and my body to be decently entred[interred] as to my worldly Substance
I Give and bequeath as follows  Item; I mean the Use of all my Estate
both Real and personal to my loving wife Mary Wood Dureing her Naterl
life and at her death I give and Bequeath one Shilling Sterling to my
Daughter Lydia Good also I Give and bequeath one Shilling Sterling to
to[sic] my son Edward Wood - also I give and beQueath to my son William
Wood or his heir one Shilling Sterling also I give and bequeath to my son
Blaton Wood one Shilling Sterling also I Give and bequeath to my
Daughter Sarah Forest one Shilling Sterling also I Give and bequeath
to my son Henry Wood one Shilling Sterling alsow I give and
Bequeath to my daughter Meley Gwin One Shilling Sterling also I give and
Bequeath to my daughter Theaney Wallace one Shilling Sterling also I
Give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Wood one Shilling Sterling
Also I Give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Acory one Shilling
Sterling also I give and bequeath to my Sons James Wood and Joseph Wood
all the Remainder of my Estate Lands Stock of all kinds hous[e]hold Goods and
Chattles and all and Everything or things that belongs to me to them
and there[sic] heirs and assigns for ever ~~~~

I do also anominate and appoint my sons James Wood and Joseph
Wood executors of This my Last will and Testament as witness my
hand and seal this 23rd Day of May 1786 ~~

Sterling - also I Give & Bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Acory One
Shilling Sterling - also I Give & Bequeath to my sons James Wood
and Joseph Wood all the remainder of my Estate, Lands, Stock
of all kinds, household Goods and chattels and all and Every thing
or things that belongs to me to them and their heirs and assigns for-
=Ever - I do also nominate and appoint my sons James Wood and
Joseph Wood Executors of this my Last Will & Testament as witness
my hand & seal this 23rd day of May 1786.

                                     Orange County February Term 1800
The Execution of the forgoing Last Will & Testament of Thomas Wood deceased was duly
proved in Open Court by the Oaths of Elias Turner & Frederick Geer subscribing
witnesses thereto & Ordered to be Recorded - at the same time James Woods and
Joseph Wood Executors therein named qualified    -Test
