I Eleanor Woods of the County of Orange and State
of North Carolina Being of Sound mind and Memory
But Considering the Uncertainty of my Earthly
Existence do make and Declare this my Last will
and Testament In Manner and form following
that is to say

First that my Executor (Hereinafter named) Shall
provide for my Body a Decent Burial Suitable to the
wishes of my Relations and Friends, and pay all
Funeral Expences Together with my Just Debts Howsoever
and to whomsoever Owing, out of the moneys that
may first Come into his hands as a part or parcel
of my Estate

Item I Give and Devise my Grandson James Hopkins
     One Bed and Furniture

Item I Give and Devise my Grandaughter Rebecca
Hopkins one Muly Cow one Stand of Curtains
and my Corner Cupboard

Item I Give and Devise my Grandaughter Harriet
Hopkins my walnut Table

Item I Give and Devise my Grandaughters
Harriet Hopkins & Rebecca Hopkins all the Residue
of my Estate after taking out the Devises above
mentioned, Shall Be Equally Divided, Betwixt them
Share and Share alike to them and their Heirs
forever

and Lastly I Do Hereby Constitute and appoint
my Trusty Friend Henry Whitted my Lawfull Executor
to Execute this my Last will and Testament Acording
to the true Intent and meaning of the same
and Every part and Clause thereof Hereby Revoking
and Declairing utterly void all Other wills and

In witness whereoff I the said Eleanor Woods do
Hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 10th Day of August
1842

Signed Sealed published and Declaired by the
Said Eleanor Woods to be her Last will and
Testament, in the presence of us who at her Request
and in her presence do Subscribe our names
as witnesses thereto

I Elanor Woods of the County of Orange &

The execution of the forgoing last Will & Testament
of Elinor Woods Decd. was duly provid in open
Court by the oath of James Montgomery one
of the subscribing witnesses thereto & ordered to be
