Baldwin High Montgomery } A codicil to the last will of Joseph Woods } William Woods Be it known to all men by these Presents that I william woods of the County of Orange and State of North Carolina made & Declared my last will and testament in writing Bearing Date the fifth Day of June one thousand eight [hundred] and eighteen I The Said william woods by this Present Codicil Do Ratify and confirm this my Said last will and Testament and Do further give and bequeath to my loving Brother inlaw Eli woods Husband of my late Sister Lucy woods Deceased - All my part of the Property comeing to me from my afforesaid Sister Lucy woods deceased - - - - - - - - - - - - - - and my will and meaning is that his codicil be adjudged a part and parcel of the Said last will and Testament of the Said william woods and that all things - - - therein mentioned and contained be faithfully and truly performed and as fully and amply in every [page 4] Respect as if the same was So Declared and Set Down in my last will and Testament witness my hand this Fifth Day of June one thousand Eight Hundred and Eighteen - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Signed in the Presence his of us --- William (X) Woods (seal) Wm.
