All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Ben Franklin ben.franklin.ffru@gmail.com May 2024 Source: Loose Will, NC Archives CR 073.801, Will Book Volume C, page 144 Written: October 17, 1796 Recorded: Aug 1799 Testator: Joshua Wyatt In the Name of God Amen I Joshua Wyatt of Orange County and State of North Carolina being Weak in Body but of Perfect mind and disposing Memory do make and Ordain this this[sic] Instrument of Writing to be my last Will and Testament as follows ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Imprimis I Give and Bequeath to my two Sons Joshua Wyatt and Frederick Wyatt all my Land that I bought of Isaac Dorris to be Equally Divided between them, to them their Heirs or Assigns for ever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Item I Give to my Daughter Elizabeth Wyatt one young Horse and Womans Saddle & Bridle to her her Heirs or Assigns ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ Item I give to my daughter Mary Simpson one Sorrel Mare which she has in her possession to her her Heirs or Assigns ~~ ~~ ~~ ~~ It is my Will & desire that all the Residue of my Estate of Every kind be for the use and Benifit[sic] of my Wife Elizabeth Wyatt during her Natural Life and at her decease to be Equally Divided between my two Sons Joshua Wyatt and Frederick Wyatt & my Daughter Elizabeth Wyatt, Share and share a like ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lastly I nominate and appoint my wife Elizabeth Wyatt and my two sons Joshua Wyatt and Frederick Wyatt Executors to this my last Will and Testament Renouncing and Revoking [page 2] all former Wills Owning and Acknowledging in this Instrument of Writing to be my last Will and Testament In Witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Seventeenth day of October 1796 Signed sealed & delivered } Joshua Wyatt (seal) in the Presence of us } Will.
