In the Name of God Amen I Joshua Wyatt
of Orange County and State of North Carolina
being Weak in Body but of Perfect mind and
disposing Memory do make and Ordain this
this[sic] Instrument of Writing to be my last Will
and Testament as follows ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Imprimis I Give and Bequeath to my two
Sons Joshua Wyatt and Frederick Wyatt all my
Land that I bought of Isaac Dorris to be Equally
Divided between them, to them their Heirs
or Assigns for ever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Item I Give to my Daughter Elizabeth Wyatt
one young Horse and Womans Saddle & Bridle
to her her Heirs or Assigns ~~  ~~  ~~  ~~  ~~

Item I give to my daughter Mary Simpson one
Sorrel Mare which she has in her possession
to her her Heirs or Assigns  ~~  ~~  ~~  ~~

It is my Will & desire that all the Residue
of my Estate of Every kind be for the use and
Benifit[sic] of my Wife Elizabeth Wyatt during
her Natural Life and at her decease to be Equally
Divided between my two Sons Joshua Wyatt
and Frederick Wyatt & my Daughter Elizabeth
Wyatt, Share and share a like  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Lastly I nominate and appoint my wife
Elizabeth Wyatt and my two sons Joshua Wyatt
and Frederick Wyatt Executors to this my last
Will and Testament Renouncing and Revoking

all former Wills Owning and Acknowledging
in this Instrument of Writing to be my last
Will and Testament In Witness I have hereunto
set my hand and seal the Seventeenth day
of October 1796

                    The Execution of the foregoing Last Will & Testament
of Joshua Wyatt deceased was duly proved in open Court by the Oath of
William Wilkins subscribing witness thereto & ordered to be Recorded ~ at the same
time Joshua Wyatt Executor therein named qualified accordingly
