Vizt. ~~ To Robert A. Younger, the oldest Son a Girl by the name of Tilla and a boy by the name [of] Sam, at the value of three hundred and seventy five dollars which Slaves have been delivered to him and are in his possession ~~~ To John Younger, the second Child of the Intestate, an Infant, a Negro Girl by the name of Dark, and a Boy by the name of Ben, at the value of four hundred and ten dollars, which said Slaves are now in my possession as Guardian of the said John Younger ~~~~ To Richard Younger the third and last Child of the Intestate a negro woman by the name of Sue, and a by[boy] by the name of Jacob, and a Girl by the name of Barbary, at the Value of five Hundred and twenty five dollars ~~~~ which Said Slaves are now in my possession as Guardian of the said Richard Younger. ~~~~ And have retained to myself, to my own use, as any share of the Slaves A negro Woman by the name of Henny, and a boy by the name of Jim, at the value of four Hundred and fifteen dollars ~~ 27th May 1813 her Sarah (X) Younger Admrx. & mark Guard. Includes Estate Sale, Administratrix Bond, Inventory, Division of Land, Allotment of Dower, Appointment of Guardian. Intestate died 4 Jul 1811 The first version of the will, above, is not found in the loose wills, rather in the Estate papers. It is similar to a will, and was transcribed into the will book.
