Lastly I appoint my friend Andrew C Murdock Esquire my Executor to this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others by me heretofore made Signed Sealed and declared } her by the Testatrix as her last } Mary (X) Younger (seal) Will & Testament who in our } mark presence at her request & witness } the same this 4th day of } November AD 1850 } John A Christmas } Geo W Bruce } Jurat Codicil I revoke the appointment of A C Murdock as my Executor and do hereby appoint in his stead my sister Betsy Parton December 4th 1850 her Thos H ????? Mary (+) Younger (seal) Walter A Norwood Jurat mark [Will Book Volume F, page 481] I Mary Young of Orange County in the State of North Carolina being of sound disposing Mind do make ordain & constitute this paper writing as my last will & testament First I do hereby give and devise to my sister Betsy Partin my lots with the improvements thereon to her during her natural life & at her death I give & bequeath the said lots with the improvements thereon to my niece Eliza Ann Parten & to her heirs & Executors forever. Murdock ~ as my Executor and do hereby appoint in his stead my sister Betsy Parton December 4th 1850 her Thos H Turner Mary (X) Younger (seal) Walter A Norwood mark Orange County Court February Term 1851 The execution of the foregoing last will & testament of Mary Younger decd. was duly proved in open Court on the oath of of[sic] George W Bruce one of the subscribing witnesses witnesses[sic] thereto [x-out] and the Codicil to said will was duly proved by the oath of Walter A Norwood one of the subscribing witnesses thereto & the said will & codicil ordered to be Recorded ~ at the same time Bestey Parten the Executrix appointed in said Codicil appeared in open Court & qualified accordingly Test Additional Comments: Will Book Volume F, pages 481-482 Recorded Feb 1851 Estate Papers comprise 24 pages and are found in a folder labeled "Younger, Mary".
