(Note: Book 1 of Old Bath County/Beaufort County Deed Book) 1706, Jan. 7: FURNIFOLD GREEN and wife HANNAH sell to CHRISTOPHER DAWSON land on Neuse River, the same being called Rich Neck, bounded by the river and creek called CUCCOWINK. B-1. 1708, Sept. 21: EDMUND PEARCE’S patent for 550 acres on Neuse River, beginning on the North side of Pearce Creek, at the mouth. B-1. 1708, Oct. 8: FARNIFOLD GREEN to JOHN PUTNALL, 250 acres on N. side of Neuse River, Wit. CHRIS. DAWSON. B-1. 1708-9, Jan. 4: Patent to CHRISTOPHER DAWSON for 320 acres on Farnifold Green’s Creek, in Neuse River. B-1. 1708-9, Jan. 4: CHRISTOPHER DAWSON assigns title to the above to “My son FRANCIS GREEN.” Wit. LEVI TREWHITT and ENON (ENOCH?) WARD. B-1. 1720, July 5: MAURICE MOORE sells to FRANCIS LYNFIELD (Hyde Precinct) 140 acres on the N. side of BAY RIVER, patented by said Moore 22 Jan. 1713. B-1. 1733, May 16: JOHN TULLY, Hyde Precinct to JOHN LYNFIELD 300 acres to 400 acres on BEAR (Bay) RIVER in Beaufort Precinct, on South side of river, joining JOHN MOORE’S land, patented by WILLIAM BELL. Wit. ROGER MASON and JOHN MASON. B-2. 1733, May 29: WILLIAM CARRUTHERS sells SOLOMON WITHERINGTON 150 acres on South side of BAY RIVER, part of 1,220 acres granted to NEAL O’NEALE, and he dying, the same was taken by DANIEL SHINE by an escheat patent dated 14 Nov. 1730. Wit. JOHN BROOKS, JOSEPH PLEGER and BENJAMIN RICE. B-2. 1731, July 16: DANIEL SHINE sells to WILLIAM CARRUTHERS 306 acres on the South side of BAY RIVER, &c over against THOMAS SIMMONS, part of the 1,220 acres patented by NEALE O’NEALE. Wit: FRANCIS DELAMAR and JOHN WITHERINTON. B-2. 1731, July 6: DANIEL SHINE to FRANCIS DELAMAR, 306 acres on the S. side of BAY RIVER, part of land patented by NEALE O’NEALE. Wit.
