JACKSON Bible 
1759-1804
Source: Rev. War Records of Jesse JACKSON

This JACKSON Bible was found in the Rev. War Records of Jesse JACKSON of
Haywood Co., TN. when his widow, Elisabeth Simson/Simpson JACKSON applied 
for a pension on 18 Sept. 1848. She states her husband entered the service 
in 1776 in Pasquotank County, NC. She states she married Jesse JACKSON on 
the 18th day of April 1782 in Pasquotank Co., NC. Her husband died in Haywood 
Co., TN on the 6th day of December 1826. (A marriage bond does exist for
Elisabeth SIMPSON & Jesse JACKSON in Pasquotank Co., NC for 18 April 1782)

20th, 1768.
James JACKSON, Son Demsey JACKSON & Dorcas his wife was Born, October the 15th 
1769.
Asa JACKSON, Son of Demsey JACKSON & Dorcas his wife was born July the 10th, 
1772.

Malachi JACKSON, Son of Demsey JACKSON & Dorcas his wife was Born, July the 2nd 
1775.
Susannah JACKSON, Daughter of Demsey JACKSON & DORCAS his wife was Born, 
November the 19th, 1777.
Simon JACKSON, Son of Demsey JACKSON & Dorcas his wife was Born February the 
29th, 1780 and Decst January 1st? 1798.
Elisabeth SIMSON, Daughter of William SIMSON & Rodey/Badey? his wife was Born, 
September the 18th, 1762.
Jesse JACKSON & Elisabeth SIMSON was married April the 18th, 1782.
Demsey JACKSON, Son of Jesse JACKSON & Elisabeth his wife was Born, August the 
19th, 1783, Dec’th Oct. 16th, 1790?
