Pasquotank County, NC – Nixonton - Act to Appoint Commissioners, 1826

An Act to appoint commissioners for the town of Nixonton, in Pasquotank 
county

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina, 
and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That John Pool, 
senr, Chappin Saultenstall, Miles Elliot, Francis Shaw and Robert 
Bailey, be, and they are hereby appointed commissioners for the town of 
Nixonton, in Pasquotank county, who are vested with the same powers and 
authorities for the regulation of the said town of Nixonton, as those 
who have hereunto been appointed by law.
