Thurs. Dec. 1, 1859   North Carolina  Argus December 1, 1859
   DR. JAMES F. LEE, of Elizabeth City, N. C., died on the 10th ult. MR. LEE 
was engaged in some of the late Indian struggles and served his country 
faithfully and honorably in the late Mexican War, having borne a gallant part 
in crowning the American arms with the brilliant victory achieved at Buena 
Vista.
