J.H.AYDLETT. ELIZABETH CITY.---Funeral services for James Huffman Aydlett, Sr., 
63, prominent retired business man of this city, who died suddenly from a heart 
attack at his summer cottage at Kitty Hawk Beach Wednesday afternoon about 1:30 
o'clock were conducted at the home, 420 West Main Street, Thursday afternoon at 
4 o'clock. Rev. J.L. White, pastor of the Blackwell Memorial Baptist Church 
officiated.
Burial was made in Hollywood Cemetery.
His wife, Mrs. Clate White Aydlett; three sons, J.H.Aydlett, Jr., Trim White 
and Julian E. Aydlett, all of Elizabeth City; a brother; Dr. Herbert T. Aydlett 
of Greensboro; a sister, Mrs. Noah Burfoot Sr., of Asheville; four 
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive.
