Will of Cader Morgan b/Unk d/Abt 1835
 
In the name of God, Amen. I Cader Morgan being of sound and perfect mind and 
memory, blessed be God, do this the twenty third day of September in the year 
of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five, make and publish this 
my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say:
 
I give the use of my land to my wife, Sarah Morgan, during her life or living 
my widow, also one bed and furniture, first choice,
 
Item: I give and bequeath unto my son, James Morgan, my land whereon I live 
after the death or marriage of his mother to him and his heirs forever.
 
Also, one gun.
 
I also give unto my wife one hand mill, also, one yoke of oxen and cart.
 
Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter, Margret, one bed and furniture to 
her and her heirs forever.
 
I also give unto my grand daughter, Permileous Cartwright, one bed and 
furniture that her father has in his possession.
 
I also give unto my grand daughter, Margret Scott, one bed and furniture in 
the possession of her father.
 
Also, my will and desire is that after paying my just debts that the remaining 
part of my property if any shall be equally divided between my four daughters, 
viz:
 
Margret, Penny and Sarah and Mary.
 
I furthermore appoint my son, James Morgan, and son in law, James Scott 
Executors to this my last will and testament in witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal this day and date above written in the presence 
of us.
