Will of Edward Wood, Sr. 
Last Will and Testament
6 November 1716
Princess Anne, Virginia


Know al men by these presents that I, Edward Wood, Sr., for divers good causes 
me thereunto moving but more specifically for the natural love and affection 
which I have and do bear unto my son William Wood doe give all land, every 
part and parcel of my Plantation which I now live upon and am posseth within 
Kings Creek after my decease, only my wife to have free priviledge to live 
upon ye abovenamed Plantation during ye time of her widowhood, but if she 
marries, then ye said Plantation wholly to fall into the hands of my said son, 
William Wood and his heirs forever lawfully begotten of his body.

In witness thereof, I have set my hand this 6th day of November 1716.
