NOTE: John Bunyon CROOM (1822-1897) married Mary Jane McDUFFIE in NHC 
(later Pender). John was a younger brother of my 2nd great-grandfather, Nathan 
Richard CROOM, SR., son of James Frederick CROOM, SR.  – information from John 
Croom.
