Two Men Seriously Burned in Pender County Forest Fire

Wilmington, June 5 - William Hufham, a young man of Pender County, was severly 
burned yesterday while fighting a forest fire and was brought to Wilmington 
this afternoon on the steamer Alice and carried to the city hospital. He was 
fearfully burned about the body and it is feared that the burns will prove 
fatal. Seth Pridgen, another young man of Pender, was also hemmed in by the 
flames and seriously burned. The territory in Pender burned is about three 
miles in length and two miles wide.
