C E Shine vs A J Shine
Notice

The defendant above named will take notice that an action entitled as above has
been commenced in the Superior Court of Pender county for divorce from the bonds
of matrimony and defendant will further take notice that he is required to
appear at the next term of the Superior Court of said county to be held on the
first Monday in March 1898, at the court house of said county, in Burgaw, NC and
answer or demur to the complaint in said action, or the plaintiff will apply to
the court for the relief demanded in said complaint.

February 14, 1883 in Pender County. In the 1900 census, Civil E Shine is living
with her parents W T Hodges and Mariah J Hodges. Civil is listed as being
