Prior to that it was owned by Henry Wind (Harry) Baker, my great-great grandfather, whose headstone is the largest in the cemetery. The cemetery is located two miles from the Town of Winfall down the Two Mile Desert Road. Turn right on Swamp Road and go one-half mile. The cemetery is in the center of the field to your left. The following transcriptions were made personally by me on 20 June 1978. Additional notes come from other family records (mainly the Baker Family Bible) and the recollections of family members who had lived on the property since the turn of the century. The cemetery is almost square, and has many unmarked graves or graves with brick and mortar markers. The following inscriptions were recorded: In Memory of H. W. Baker Born Mar 2, 1820 Died May 25, 1901 Lavinia Baker Born Mar 19, 1844 Died Apr 21, 1934 In Memory of L. J. Baker Consort of Martin Smith Born Nov 9, 1857 Died May 30, 1897 Charlie B.
