This copy contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives. The Samuel White Cemetery is located less than one-forth mile from Turnpike Road (#1001) on Craney Island Road (#1212). It is on the right up a lane past the James T. Winslow house and about a hundred yards into a field belonging to Tommy Stallings. The only marker now remaining is a broken tombstone which reads: Osmond Son of Samuel & Elizabeth White Born July 15, 1812 Died July 15, 1860 Within five feet to the left of the marker lies his father and mother. Asa Stallings says in addition to Whites, there were Winslows, Outlaws, and perhaps others buried there and that this was a large, old cemetery.
