Written: November 1861 Recorded: November 20, 1861 The Standard of Raleigh Nov. 20, 1861 NOTICE On the 18th day of December we shall offer at public sale, at the residence of BENJAMIN S. SKINNER, Perquimmons County, N.C., all the chattel, property, belonging to his estate,m consisting of stock of Horses, Mules, Cattle, Hogs, and Sheep, Crops of Corn and Fodder, a large lot of wagons, carts, plows and farming implements. At the same time a portion of the Negroes belonging to the estate will be hired out for the next year, and the lands joining JOHN W. SUTTON, known as the old JAMES LEIGH place, and a portion of the WHEDBEE land joining BAKER HOSKINS and ABRAM RIDDICK, will be rented out for the same time. TERMS: -- The property will be sold on a credit of six months, with interest from date. The negroes and land will be hired and rented out on a credit of twelve months without interest. JAMES L.
