March 3, 1806, Raleigh Minerva March 3, 1806 On the 3rd of Feb., MR. WILLIAM STEVENSON, MR. D. REED of Durant’s Neck, and MR. GALLOP, an overseer of MR. TORKSEY, set off in a boat, with three negro men, from the plantation of MR. TORKSEY on Pasquotank River, bound to Durant’s Neck on ___ River. They have not been heard of, but every conjuncture leads to the melancholy probability that they are all drowned. The hat of MR. STEVENSON and MR. D. REED, were both promising young men, and had scarecely attained to years of manhood. – Edenton Gaz.
