Warren F. Taylor and Dr. Millard Stevens officiating. Burial was in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Smithfield. Pallbearers were: E.L. Hurdle, Ray Hurdle, Royce Hurdle, Ellis Winslow, Clifford Winslow and Henry G. Bradshaw. Winslow, of 4436 Godwin Blvd., died in his home. A native of Belvidere, N.C. he was the husband of Mrs. Pauline Goodson Winslow and son of the late Mr. and Mrs. N.F. Winslow Sr. He was a farmer. He was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church Chuckatuck Ruritan Club, and Virginia Mutual Insurance Association. Besides his widow, survivors include a daughter, Miss Brenda Jo. Winslow of Windsor; a step-daughter, Mrs. Patricia Johnson of Suffolk; two sons, A. Herman Winslow, Jr. of Suffolk and William C. Winslow of Suffolk; a step-son, Paul Dyer of Freeport, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Sybil W. Winslow of Hertford, N.C., Mrs. Daphne W. Rhodes of Battleboro, N.C., and Mrs. Myrtle W. Gardner of Carrsville; one brother, Raymond S. Winslow of Suffolk; and several nieces and nephews.
