Mr Dollarson Dean, Sir I take my pen in hand to make some enginey 
about my grandmother and heir People.  my Farther died when I was so 
young I can't state the panticklans about them some years after he 
died, came a letter that Aunt Milley DIXON was dead and had left him 
some property.  We said he came from Person County New Virginia, 
which we understand is now in North Carolina.  my grandmother was the 
wife of Henry DIXON of the Revittition of 76.  my Aunt Milley was a 
widdow he said he lived with her before he came to this county.  my 
grandmother was alive the last time I heard from her long since 
father died her mame name  was Penelope.  theare was atobacco 
waggoner told me that they all lived in your county.  he said there 
was no such county in Virginia  he directted me to rite to you, he 
said you had been in office along time and you could tell me more 
about it as I anxious to know something about it  Please make the 
engivey for me and if you can find out all about it we will satisfy 
you for your troubl
