FRANCIS DAY
of North Carolina

   Francis Day's widow, Jane Farmer Day, applied for revolutionary pension March
6, 1843, while she was living in Person County. She was then 78 years of age.
She stated that he enlisted at Oxford, Granville County, N. C. He served under
her own cousin, Colonel Thomas Farmer in Georgia. He married Jane Farmer in
1787. Francis Day died February 20, 1816. She mentioned a son, John Day.
