MRS. S. T. SATTERFIELD DEAD
Mother of The Wife of Congressman W.W. KITCHIN
(Special to the News and Observer)
Roxboro, N.C. May 25. It is with much grief that the
death of Mrs. Sue T. SATTERFIELD is announced.  It
occurred here at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. W.
KITCHIN.  She had been in bad health for sometime,
suffering from stomach trouble, and her death was not
unexpected.  Mrs. SATTERFIELD was fifty-six years of
age, and is survived by three children, Mrs. W.W.
KITCHIN, Misses Gertrude and Mattie SATTERFIELD.  The
funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at
3 o'clock, by Rev. K. D. Holmes, pastor of the Roxboro
Methodist church.

Transcriber's note: Sue Temesia Norwood was born in
1850, daughter of George Washington NORWOOD and Sarah
Jane WALKER.  She is buried in Roxboro, NC.
