We, the widow and surviving children, heirs at-law & next of kin of Andrew 
Bradsher, hereby acknowledge the receipt of eight teen [sic] dollars & seventy-
seven cents less costs from D. W. Bradsher clerk of the Superior Court of 
Person County, being the sum in the hands of said clerk coming to said heirs 
of Andrew Bradsher.

I Hiram P Foard, Justice of Peace for Rockingham County, hereby certify that

personally appeared before me, and duly acknowledged the execution of the 
above receipt.

*Note: this is a different estate, but contains some of the same names as the Sid Lea/Martha Bradsher matter. Doesn’t take long for the name to change either, does it?
