Person County, NC Loose Estate Papers

JACOB DIXON died 1855

JOHN DUNCAN and HH DUNCAN acknowledge ourselves indebted to the state 
of NC in the sum of Eightly four dollars and sixty four cents.

JOHN DUNCAN has this day received fron W THOMAS executor of JACOB 
DIXON Sen. decd.  The sum of Forty two dollars and 32 cents.  If any 
debts occur from JACOB DIXON Sen. decd, JOHN DUNCAN and BA THAXTON 
shall duly refund and pay his notable share of such debts.

Our hands and seals this the 16th day of June 1863.

SARAH DIXON and ABNER H DIXON and JOPS CHAMBERS acknowledge ourselves 
indebted to the state of NC in the sum of Two thousand dollars.  
Dated the 21st day of September 1853.

The condition of the above obligation is such, that SARAH DIXON 
adminstrator of all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and 
credits of DAVID W DIXON deceased.
