State of North Carolina, Person County to RI DAVIS, James BULLOCK, 
Jno R TINGEN

Gents

You are hereby summoned to be a appear at Nelson DIXON in the state 
and county aforesaid on Tuesday 19th of February 1867 for the purpose 
of assigning to said Dixon such household, kitchen furniture as the 
law in his case do is make -------- for him to have hence fail not.  
I will meet you at the time specified above. 18th February

The law directs for you free holder to allow said Dixon one cow and 
calf, 10 bushels corn and wheat, 50 lbs.  bacon, necessary farming 
tools for 1 hand, 1 bed  stead and covering for ---2 members of 
family and such other property as the free holders may think 
necessary such other property not to exceed $50 in value.
