This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Barry Whitfield barry_whitfield@hotmail.com ==================================================================== This is the last Will and Testimony of Miss George Dixon Oct 12, 1913 Will in Testimony of Miss George Dixon Tommie Stephens is to have my best bed, straw bed and feather bed tick two best pillows best blanket, and white countapine (sic counterpane) and lace pillar shams, two sheets, two of the best quilted, bed quilts mine & his pictures taken together, and Preacher Lamberths, picture and my mothers small enlarged picture, Hatties Carr's little George is to have my mothers large picture, my brother abb and wifes large picture is to go to his son Samie. My sister Anere's picture is for her son, Isaac Evans. My brother, Marion picture is for his grandson little Marion. Loue Evans, is to have my roller organ. Then I want Tommie Stephens three children to have my three rings that Mollie Whitt has got, now Molllie treat Tommie and his children as I told you. I want Babes four largest boys to have one of my best bed quilts each, and the three little boys, one each. My Sister Greere is to have Uncle Abb's large picture and the Cloverine salve picture I give her. Mollie Whitt is to pay three dollars and a half for the lounge, and she has not yet paid it, little George Carr, is to have my two Green Vases in the other room, I want all of my property sold, and I want a deasent (sic decent) burial when I die, and if there is any left out of my property, I want a tomb stone put between my mother and fathers grave I want to be buried beside of my father. I want Babes little daughter Annie to have the feather bed and straw tick that I am now on and two pillars two sheets & second best blanket and one quilted bed quilt as you have always been good and kind to me. Babe I want your little crippled boy birdie to have my milk cow and when the cow is to old to keep. I want you to sell her for him and he is to have every cent of the money and I want you to put it in the bank for him on intrust until he is twenty one years old. Then if there is any more, I want it put in the peoples bank of Roxboro, NC. On intrust to pay for keeping the grave yard cleaned off when needed, as long as it lastes, and I want my church salary paid I have seventeen dollars and fifty four cents. J. D. Long has in his persation (sic possession) in my pocket book. That seventeen dollars and fifty four cents is to be applied as I have fore said, after my debts are paid, I want a nice tomb stone, I want letter on it, look up on high and believe I'm there. I want Dr. Bradsher to settle up my business according to this Will and if he cannot do it I want him to appoint somebody that he knows will do it right, I want Wootson Long to have my new glasses, also I send them to him today by his father, J.
