To all to whom these presents shall come greeting know ye that I Charles Haddock of the county aforesaid for and in consideration of sum of fifty pounds of current money of the said state to me in hand paid by Zachariah Haddock of the state and county aforesaid before the signing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I do acknowledge and myself there fully satisfied contented and paid in every part and parity thereof do exonerate acquit and discharge the said Zachariah Haddock his heirs and assigns and administrators by these presents have given granted bargained confirmed and do fully give grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said Zachariah Haddock his heirs and assigns forever. One tract of land lying and being in the said County of Pitt and province aforesaid on the south side if the Watering Hole branch containing one hundred and fifty acres of land be it more or less it being part of a tract of land granted to Frederick Mills an by the said Mills conveyed to me. To have and hold the said bargained premisses privileges belonging to the said Zachariah Haddock his heirs and assigns forever with all the appurtenance belonging thereto the said Zachariah Haddock his heirs and assigns forever to his and their proper use and behoof forever and I Charles Haddock for myself my heirs Eal. and Amrl. do covenant and agree to and with the said Zachariah his heirs and assigns that before the ensealing and delivery of these presents I am the sole and true and lawful owner of the above premisses.
