Day of April in the Xllll Reign of Soverign Lord George the Third and the ... of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy four between John Hattock Senior [sic] of the Province of North Carolina Planter of the one part William Hattock [sic] of s(ame) Province of County Planter other part Witnesseth that for and consideration of the sum Fifteen pound proc money by the other part William Hattock [sic] to the said John Hattock Senior [sic] in hand Paid the Receipt Whereof ... by fully acknowledged He the said John Hattock Sen [sic] hath given granted bargained and sold and these presents both give grant bargain and Sell the said William Hattock [sic] his heirs and assignees certain peice or parcel of land Lying and ... Pitt Count on on the East Side of the East ... Creek, Beginning at a post oak on Wains Line South 67 Et. 140 pole, to a pine thence ... West to a Pine, thence North 75 West 126 Pole to said Line then with his line to the first Station taining on Hundred Acres Being a Tract granted to John Hattock Junr [sic] by Patent on Date Nov 16, 1764 by him convey to me by Bearing Date Feb 16, 1768, To have and to the aforesaid one Hundred acres of Land With Aperteances And all Rights privileges Improvements to the Same in any wife belonging him the said William Hattock [sic] his heirs assigns forever, the said John Hattock for himself his heirs both hereby coverant agree to and with the said William Hattock [sic] he the Said William Hattock [sic] his heirs shall and may forever herafter peaceably ...
