Received twenty-nine hundred and fifty dollars of Jesse Rountree and Henry M. Rountree in 
payment of negroes Jerry and Clary, and we the undersigned do warrant and defend the title 
[of] the said negroes to the said Jesse and Henry, to their heirs and assigns, against the lawful 
claim or claims of any person or persons whatever. Given under our hands and seals March 
29th 1858.
