Dr. Robert Williams, Sterling Dupre, John Moye, Arther Ferbush, and William Blount, Esqrs. Wayne. Col. Moran, Andrew Bass, Richard McKinney, William Taylor, and James Handley, Esqrs. Edenton. James Iredell. Chowan. Charles Johnson, Michael Payne, Stephen Cabarras, Nathaniel Allen and Edmund Blount, Esqrs. Perquimons. His excellency gov. It is reported that Dobbs county have made no choice of representatives to the state Convention, owing to a party, which, at the close of the election, finding the candidates which they had nominated, not likely to be chosen, destroyed the box which contained the votes.
