Queenie Anderson Basnight,84 of Farmville died on Sunday November 27 in her 
home, after an extended illness.   She was a native of Pitt county- however 
lived much of her life in Chowan County.  She is survived by her Daughter and 
Son Rita Basnight-Zalonis and David Zalonis...2 grandchildren- Andrew Zalonis 
and Emily Zalonis all of Farmville.   She was the daughter of the late Richard 
Anderson and Queen Stocks Anderson of Pitt County, and the widow of the late 
Horace Basnight of Chowan County.   In lieu of service and flowers Mrs. 
Basnight requested to be creamated with a private ceremony conducted at her 
home.
