Albert Crockett and Dr. R.E. Brittle. Burial was in Holly Lawn Cemetery. R.W. Baker Funeral Home, Suffolk, had charge. Mrs. Collins died Thursday in a hospital. A native of Pitt County, N.C., she was the widow of Joseph Millard Collins. She had retired from the Economy Shop of Suffolk as a seamstress after 26 years. Mrs. Collins was a member of Somerton United Methodist Church and a past Patron of the church women. She taught the intermediate class of 27 years. Survivors include two sons, Earl Hunter Collins of Franklin and Joseph E. Collins of Suffolk; two sisters, Lillian Parker of Suffolk and Othineal Smith of Portsmouth; a brothers, Marvin Eugene Baker of Gates, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
