Edward Pasteur. In announcing the death of this inestimable lady, it is but a feeble tribute to her memory to add that she had no superior in those virtues which while they endear the female character, reflect an imperishable lustre on their possessor. Considered in all the various relations of domestic life, her deportment will be found to have been exemplary and amiable. As a wife, she was loving and devoted, most tender and affectionate - as a mother, her character was rendered conspicuous by the exercise of her maternal virtues; in the relation of mistress, her conduct was kind and forgiving, disengaged from every thing like asperity, and as a friend and a christian, she was sincere and pious. A found husband and children, whose happiness was derived from the presence of a wife so excellent - a mother so tender and indulgent, have sustained a loss over which they will long and bitterly mourn.
