BRUCE C. SPENCER

SPENCER, Bruce C., 74, of Waverly, Va., passed away November 24, 2016. 

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Camilla Sumrell Spencer; two brothers, 
Earle Spencer Jr. and Wilson spencer of Chestefield, He was preceded in death by 
his parents, Earle Spencer and Mildred Phillips Spencer; and brother, Wayne 
Spencer, all of Chesterfield. 

Bruce was owner and president of Spencer Propane Company and co-owner and 
president of Spencer Brothers, Ind. He was a member of the Waverly United 
Methodist Church. There will be a private burial in Ayden. N.C. In lieu of 
Flowers, donations may be made to Tidewater Academy, 217 West Church Street. 
Wakefield, Va. 23888. Arrangements are in the care of Farmer Funeral Service, 
Ayden, N.C.
