All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Connie Ardrey n/a December 6, 2011, 1:42 pm Source: N C Archives Written: 1892 I Frederick x White of Pitt County and State of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this my last will and testament in maner and form following (this is to say) First my executor hereinafter named shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relatives and friends and pay all funeral expenses, together with my just debts howsoever and to whomsoever owing out of the moneys that may first come in his hands as a part or parcel of my estate Item 2nd I lend unto Francese White my wife twenty five acres of land including all my buildings and the lands to be laid off around the buildings for and during her natural life or widowhood. I also lend unto Thomas Cannon my grandson twenty five acres of land next to the road during his natural life, and in case he leaves no children I give and bequeath the same to Joseph Jones and his heirs in fee simple forever and the 25 acres I loaned my wife I give and bequeath unto my grand daughter Pearcy Jones dawter of Joseph Jones to her and her heirs in fee simple after the death of my said wife But in case the said Thomas Cannon above writen in this Item should have any children and leave any such at his death then the said twenty five acres I have loaned him I give to them absolutely in fee simple forever Item 3th I give and bequeath unto Joseph Jones & his wife Susan and their children the ballance of my land which is forty one and three fourths acres to them and their heirs absolutely in fee simple forever.
