Nix was born Oct 8th 1835 Marriages John field was maried to Anna maconnel June 30 1778 John field was maried to Rahab Cooper August 27 1822 ----- Rahab Field applied for pension on her husband's service in Pickens District, South Carolina in 1851 stating John Field died 9 Aug 1842 at the age of eighty four; that he entered the service in 1782 in Randolph County NC and served two months in the Light Horse or Cavalry under Capt. Thos Dougan and he also served three months under Capt.
