RANDOLPH COUNTY                         Feb. . Term, 1843

ABSALOM HARVEY and others

Petition for Dower 

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendants in this 
case, 
ABSALOM HARVEY and his wife, EDITH HARVEY; ABSALOM DOLLARHIDE and his wife, 
CHARLOTTE DOLLARHIDE; BRAZELTON BROWN; ZUMRI BROWN, and NANCY HENDRICKS, widow 
of JOHN HENDRICKS, deceased, are not residents of this State. . It is 
therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for three successive 
weeks in the Patriot, printed in Greensboro’, that unless the defendant appear 
at our next Court to be held for the County of Randolph in the Court House at 
Asheboro’ on the 1st   Monday in May  next,  then and there to plead, answer 
or demur to the attachment, judgment will be taken pro confesso against them.
